In Queensland, driving without a licence is an offence under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 (Qld) and carries a number of penalties.
If your driver’s licence has expired and you are caught by police, you will receive an infringement notice under the State Penalties Enforcement Act 1999.
