Been in a car accident? The law sets out what you need to do

by Andrew Lind on 16 February, 16

A car accident is a traumatic experience

…and it often does not end there.  There are steps that you must take to fulfill legal obligations.  These steps flow on from whether you are involved in a car accident; or if you are in a car accident that involves death or injury; or if you are involved in a car accident that damages another person’s car.  These legal obligations must comply with the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995.

If involved in a car accident that typifies any of the above described situation, you can read our summary here or if you have another traffic situation which involves other forms of driving deviance, access information here and contact us on (07) 3252 0011 to set up an appointment with Brisbane Traffic Lawyers.
