Landlords can include conditions in Leases about the permitted (or not permitted) use of the premises. Whether this particular provision is enforceable would require specific advice from our Leasing Lawyers.

I would like to get some inormation. My partner and I are in the process of buying a property in Queensland and I was talking to the owner of the business and she was talking about her lease and she had said that the landlord had put in the lease that they have to sell a grocery line I would like to know if the landlord can put this in lease even tho he does not own the business just the building.
